A Physician Associate is a medically trained healthcare professional who works alongside doctors, nurses and other members of the team to provide patient care. A Physician Associate consults patients in a similar way to the GPs in order to diagnose, investigate and treat various complaints including high blood pressure, mental health issues, contraception, minor illnesses etc.

A registered Pharmacy Technician who works alongside the GPs to maximise safety and best practice in prescribing. Lindsey is a point of contact for both patients and pharmacy staff with prescription queries. She holds medication review clinics to help patients get the best from their medicines through effective medicines management.
District Nurses
District Nursing Team – Neath Port Talbot
The District Nursing service is provided to people who are unable to attend a health care setting to receive treatment or care. Where appropriate the District Nurse will visit and provide care and treatment to patients in their own homes or normal residence. This service is typically for housebound or temporarily housebound patients and treatment will be provided following a comprehensive assessment. Health Visitors
Health visitors are registered nurses or midwives who are passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing illness and have gone on to gain further qualifications and training to become a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN HV). Health Visitors work with families with children under 5 to help support children get the best start in life. You will be offered a review by your Health Visitor or member of their team either in your home, GP Surgery or Baby Clinic. Your Health Visitor will visit you in line with the Healthy Child Wales Programme and provide key information and advice relating to the age and stage of your child.
